Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

CoopCastle partners with trusted Australian courier networks to deliver hardware and coop equipment to every state and territory. All orders are packed in reinforced cartons and dispatched from mainland warehouses.

Dispatch Timeframes

Orders placed before 12:00 PM AEST are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. During peak spring and pre-Christmas periods, allow up to 3 business days. You will receive an automated tracking email the moment your parcel is scanned by the courier.

Flat-Rate Shipping Surcharges

We use a simple zone-based flat-rate model. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay — no hidden fuel surcharges or remote-area fees added later.

Zone / StateRate (AUD)
NSW, VIC, ACTFree Standard Shipping
QLD, TAS$20.00 Flat-Rate
SA & Remote Zones$30.00 Flat-Rate
Western Australia (WA)$50.00 Flat-Rate
Northern Territory (NT)$65.00 Flat-Rate

Remote zones include isolated postcodes in QLD, SA and WA that fall outside standard metropolitan and regional courier routes. The shipping calculator at checkout will confirm your exact rate before payment.

Courier Networks

We allocate the most efficient carrier for your delivery address and parcel size. Our primary partners include:

  • Australia Post
  • StarTrack
  • Aramex (formerly Fastway)
  • TNT / FedEx Domestic
  • Allied Express

You cannot select a preferred courier at checkout — allocation is automated to ensure the fastest and most cost-effective service for your postcode.

Physical Address Required — No PO Boxes

All hardware items (mesh rolls, coop kits, brooders and automatic doors) are sent as over-sized or heavy parcels. Couriers cannot deliver to locked bags, parcel lockers or Post Office boxes.

Please provide a residential or business street address where someone can sign for or receive the delivery during business hours. If a PO Box is entered, our system will flag the order for manual review and may delay dispatch by 24 hours.

Automated Remote Postcode Cancellation

Our checkout runs a live postcode validation against our courier coverage matrix. If your delivery address falls into a zone that is classified as extremely remote or un-serviceable (e.g., certain islands, mining camps or road-inaccessible communities), the order will be automatically cancelled and refunded within 24 hours.

You will receive an email explaining the cancellation and a full refund to your original payment method. If you believe your address has been flagged in error, please contact us before placing your order.

48-Hour Transit Damage Policy

We inspect every item before it leaves the warehouse, but couriers can be rough on bulky parcels. Our transit damage policy is simple:

  • Inspect your parcel on arrival. If the carton is visibly crushed, torn or water-damaged, photograph it before opening.
  • Open the package and check the contents. If any item is bent, cracked or non-functional, photograph the damage and the internal packaging.
  • Email us at greenslopesdirect@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and the photos.
  • We will replace the damaged part or item at our expense, or issue a partial refund if a replacement is not practical.

Claims received after 48 hours may still be reviewed, but we cannot guarantee a replacement or refund without courier liability support.
